I was driving home from Occoquan, VA and decided to take a different route home. Driving on Furnace Road I came across this scene. Naturally I stopped, turned around, and took photos with the perfect clouds, lights,and shadows. Even an ordinary scene, seen with different lighting and weather, can become my inspiration for a new painting!

Honestly, even though it has a western vibe, it’s located in northern Virginia.
