Quinebaug Covered Bridge

Took the photo of the Quinebaug Covered Bridge in Old Sturbridge Village, Massachusetts about 45 years ago😲!
This bridge dates to the 1930s, and was used as the main entrance to the village in the 1950s. It spans the Quinebaug River, which runs through the Village. Quinebaug is a Native American term meaning "long, slow-moving river." Finally got around to painting it!!!

Acrylic on canvas, 16”x 20”, $252.00 plus shipping, unframed.

Derelict train cars in Oxford,PA. There are many of these train cars neglected on the rails at the outskirts of small towns... I feel a combination of sadness and nostalgia whenever I see them. They all seem to have a personality all there own. Then I wonder... where have they traveled, what have they seen, who have they carried, what events were they involved with??? They definitely fuel the imagination!
