Sometimes we get in a rut. We are creatures of habit, and we are comfortable in the way we do things. The same breakfast every day, the same route to work, the same place for lunch… But what if we went someplace different for lunch, we could possibly meet a new friend, and we all need friends.

Artists are the same, we are comfortable using the same paint, same brushes, same size canvas, the same place to paint. Looking to buy some paint I went to my usual website. Accidentally clicking on a link I came across some oil pastels, the same kind I had I had used as a child, on a whim I clicked ‘buy now”

They arrived the next day and I had so much fun. New colors, new textures, new paper, new tools, new results!
